DAY 6 AM : Things You Need to Do for Favour to Continue to Work in Your Life – Rev Francis Olonade

God is raising future Kingdom financiers and midwives for His work, establishing that divine favour and sustained success require passing essential spiritual tests while remaining boldly anchored in righteousness.

1. Identify Your Divine Owner

The foundational test for entering into continuous favour is ownership, as God only defends, prospers, and fights for those who yield their lives entirely to Him rather than to sin or worldly lusts (Romans 6:16–23). Believers are bought with a price, meaning that their physical bodies, spiritual lives, and personal conduct must explicitly glorify God and renounce all secret dishonesty (1 Corinthians 6:19–20).

Know ye not, that to whom ye yield yourselves servants to obey, his servants ye are to whom ye obey; whether of sin unto death, or of obedience unto righteousness?” — Romans 6:16 (KJV)

2. Walk in Absolute Obedience

To stay within the continuous flow of divine favour, you must pass the test of obedience by surrendering to God’s Word and respecting God-ordained authority structures within the Church (Hebrews 13:7, 17). Spiritual rebellion and stubbornness operate in the same realm as witchcraft, while prompt obedience opens doors for supernatural multiplication, just as Isaac prospered in Gerar through obedience.

Obey them that have the rule over you, and submit yourselves: for they watch for your souls, as they that must give account, that they may do it with joy, and not with grief: for that is unprofitable for you.” — Hebrews 13:17 (KJV)

3. Maintain Unwavering Loyalty

Divine favour rests upon those who demonstrate radical loyalty to Christ and their spiritual leaders, standing firmly in the house of God through every season (1 Corinthians 11:1). Like Peter placing his boat at Christ’s disposal, releasing your resources and remaining loyal in times of instruction transforms ordinary effort into miraculous, net-breaking abundance (Luke 5:1–11).

4. Value Things of Eternal Significance

God evaluates life through eternal significance, where seemingly small or insignificant acts of service—like a boy surrendering five loaves and two fishes—unlock unlimited divine multiplication (John 6:1–13). By removing fears of tomorrow, standing boldly against spiritual opposition, and rejecting compromise, believers arise to shine as living testimonies of God’s power and favour (Psalm 102:13–16).

Thou shalt arise, and have mercy upon Zion: for the time to favour her, yea, the set time, is come.” — Psalm 102:13 (KJV)

Call to Action

  • Surrender Fully to God: Formally yield every area of your body, career, and personal life to Christ, rejecting secret sins or dishonest compromises.
  • Practise Prompt Submission: Submit willingly to constituted church authority and leadership, treating assigned duties as sacred service to God.
  • Stand Boldly Against Fear: Speak faith-filled Scripture declarations aloud to confront opposition, intimidation, and negative dreams.
  • Offer What You Have for Kingdom Growth: Intentionally invest your time, talents, and finances in the local church to midwife the coming harvest.

Questions for Meditation and Pondering

  1. Am I living as someone fully owned by God, or am I allowing secret compromises to limit His favour in my life?
  2. How do I respond to spiritual authority and instructions in the Church—with prompt obedience or with subtle rebellion?
  3. What small resource or talent in my hand am I withholding that God wants to multiply for eternal impact?
