Will You Be Ready When He Comes Back
But the day of the Lord will come as a thief in the night; in the which the heavens shall pass away with a great noise, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat, the earth also and the works that are therein shall be burned up- 2 Peter 3:10
He is coming in the clouds; every eye will see Him. The hypocrites are always afraid of the coming of Jesus but those who have the blessed hope of His coming will rejoice; not because they are not useful on earth but because of the assurance of an eternal rest awaiting them. Beloved, plan your life as if Jesus will not come in your lifetime but live your life as if Jesus would come the next minute. Work diligently as if the coming of Jesus will not be now but live your life in preparation of the rapture. There is a crown for those who prepare for His coming; for those who are eager for His return.
Jesus is coming back for His saints, and when He comes, He will be glorified among the saints. Be prepared like the five wise virgins; having enough oil in your lamp. You must be proactive on this journey of faith; do not live a careless life, don't allow your light to be quenched. The day of the second coming of Jesus must not meet you unprepared; it must not catch you unaware. Do not live a life of hypocrisy and don't harbour unconfessed sin in your heart. Live for the Lord and be ready to stand alone for Him if need be.
Jesus had paid the price to bring us back to God. He once came as a meek King; born in a manger, lived like a man, ridiculed and hated by the very ones He came to save; betrayed by one of His loyalists, tortured like a mere man, humiliated for the sake of humanity, died a shameful death...all for the salvation and redemption of mankind.
Prayer: Nothing will make me miss out on your coming Lord in Jesus name.
