Endure Hardness as a Good Soldier of Christ (2)
Indeed we count them blessed who endure. You have heard of the perseverance of Job and seen the end intended by the Lord—that the Lord is very compassionate and merciful.- James 5:11
In continuation of our previous study on perseverance, “Jesus said to those Jews which believed on Him, if ye continue in my word, then are ye my disciples indeed”.
As a believer, you are not a disciple indeed if you do not continue in the Word. The world may hate us because our stand for righteousness reminds them of their eternal condemnation if they refuse to change, but the Lord wants us to continue in faith. And one day, God will give you recompense for the enemies that hate you; and that day, God will give your enemies their due reward.
Never think your enemy will go free; it may not be now, but every doer of evil will get his reward. Whatever you have gone through in the hand of men should not make you bitter but better. God is not unjust to ignore the pain of His people. I pray that what the enemy meant for evil, God will turn it for your good. And may every test and trial become testimony and triumph for you to the glory and honour of the Lord in Jesus name, Amen.
Every child of God that will make it to the end must be patient. Between God's promise for your life and receiving the promise, you need the patience of faith. Nothing good grows suddenly; there is a process for everything God will do.
Brethren, I encourage you to remember this word, that what God is bringing you through at this very moment is going to be the testimony that will bring somebody else through. No mess, No Message.
Prayer: Nothing will make me miss out on your coming Lord in Jesus name.
