Daily Feast – December 20

Refuse to fall out of God’s blessing

And Moses and Aaron gathered the assembly together before the rock; and he said to them, “Hear now, you rebels! Must we bring water for you out of this rock?” Then Moses lifted his hand and struck the rock twice with his rod; and water came out abundantly, and the congregation and their animals drank. Then the Lord spoke to Moses and Aaron, “Because you did not believe Me, to hallow Me in the eyes of the children of Israel, therefore you shall not bring this assembly into the land which I have given them.” - Numbers 20:10-12

Beloved, I employ you not to be a part of the devil's deception these last days. Don't allow the devil to deceive you that you have lived the best part of your life. God is ready to do great things in your future. In Numbers 20, the Israelites became frustrated because they were thirsty in the wilderness and the people vented their anger on Moses and Aaron since they couldn't see God.

It is possible to be angry when you are faced with certain circumstances, but when you begin to speak wrong/negative words in anger, you are giving the devil the opportunity to tamper with your blessing. Don’t exaggerate your trouble to the extent of you forgetting God’s faithfulness thus far because God is always faithful and true to see you to the very end.

Never allow frustration of life that comes our way to deprive you of your blessings like in the life of Moses. Whenever you invest, there is an expectation; and when such expectation is not met and handled carefully, it might lead to frustration.  We can also see the biblical reference in the life of Moses, he had invested his love in the people of Israel but they didn't produce the expected result, so he became frustrated. I charge us to resolve every disappointment and say, "no matter what anybody does, my focus will always be on Jesus".

Finally, beloved never allow frustration to make you lose your focus; let your focus remain on God. Don't allow disappointment to frustrate you. Ensure to resolve any iota of frustration in your life because if not resolved it will always lead to failure and you can only resolve this by speaking your mind to God and casting your cares to Him in prayer. God bless you as you do so in Jesus name.

Prayer: Frustrations of life will not deprive me of God’s blessing in Jesus name
