God Loves You Inspite Of Your Challenges

Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? Shall tribulation, or distress, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or peril, or sword? - Romans 8:35

Do not use your challenges to measure the father’s love for you. God does not love you more when you are comfortable than when you have challenges. Man’s love may be because of the benefits they will derive from getting close to you. They may appear loving because of the juicy position you presently occupy. That was the kind of love Job’s wife apparently had for him. We did not know until Job was faced with crises. She persuaded him to curse God and die so that she could probably remarry. Beloved, that is the level of Man’s love and weakness. But God’s love for us does not change. He loves us regardless of what we are passing through.

It is not true when people say you can’t have trouble because you are serving a loving God. In fact, the better the plan God has for you, the more you become the focus of demonic hatred. But the good news however is that there is always a promotion after each trial.

Daniel is a typical example of a man who got promoted after a major trial. Daniel loved the lord and walked in divine revelation. He was a man of great wisdom and insight, but 120 of his other colleagues conspired against him because they were envious and afraid of him, and they wanted to get rid of him. When they could not find a way to trap him than lauding the law of his God, they went to the king and deceived him into making a decree that no one should ask for anything from any god except from the gods of their land within certain days. The king fell into their trap and trickery. Daniel being aware that the decree was made to get him, did not lower his standard. He did not compromise the truth he knew. When it was time for Daniel to pray, he did not pray behind closed doors/windows.

He opened wide his windows as he had done before. He prayed to the God of his fathers because he knew it is only God that could establish him, and the God of his father vindicated him before the eyes of his enemies. God promoted His servant.

Prayer: Oh God, I pray that you make the stubbornness of man and the wickedness of Satan, enhance your glory in my life in Jesus Name.
