The Blessedness of God's Manifest Presence

Let your conduct be without covetousness; be content with such things as you have. For He Himself has said, “I will never leave you nor forsake you.” So we may boldly say: “The Lord is my helper;
I will not fear. What can man do to me?” - Hebrews 13:5-6

There are some blessings that God's manifest presence automatically attracts to a man:

1. The presence of God is eternal: As a child of God, you Do not need to pray that God should not leave you; He has already assured all His children of His continuous presence. All you have to do is to take advantage of His presence. Read Hebrews 13:5, John 14:16.

2. The presence of God takes away selfishness: When God is involved in your life, you cease living for yourself alone because God takes over your life and you are rest assured He will do everything for you. When God's presence is with you, your thinking will change.

Moses did not even realise his face was shining when he came down from the mountain (Exodus 34:29). The more of God you know, the more attractive your life becomes. And the good news is that it can also happen to you; the secret is in the book of Corinthians.

But we all, with open face beholding as in a glass the glory of the Lord, are changed into the same image form glory to glory, even as by the spirit of the Lord. -2 Corinthians 3:18

The more you read the Bible, the clearer you see yourself in the mirror of the word. The more you serve God, the more divine manifestation you witness. When you look at the word of God day and night, it changes you and makes you to continually grow in spiritual things.

Adam did not recognize his nakedness because of God's presence. He never knew he was naked until he fell for the deceit of the serpent. May God's glory continue to cover your human weakness to avert any embarrassment and shame in the name of Jesus (Amen).

3. God's presence drives away fear and death.

Then when Mary was come where Jesus was, and saw him, she fell down at his feet, saying unto him, Lord, if thou had been here, my brother had not died. John 11:32

Mary made the above statement because she had confidence in the manifest presence of God; she was certain that her brother would not have died if Jesus had been around. But even in the case that looked hopeless to her and her sister (Martha), God in human flesh (Jesus) came to the scene and Lazarus was raised up from the dead. You cannot be a victim of death when God is with you.

Beloved, do not give room for passivity or complacency in your spiritual walk with God. Prove to God you are hungry for more of Him and you can be sure of His continuous blessing and protection upon you and on all that are yours.

Prayer: I declare that I always have God’s presence, he has promised to never leave me nor forsake me. I am never alone; I have been given the Holy Spirit of Truth who is to me a friend. I will seek after that one thing which is most important; to sit at your feet, undistracted in JESUS NAME.
