Feed Your Faith To Starve Your Doubt
What is faith? It is the confident assurance that something we want is going to happen. It is the certainty that what we hope for is waiting for us, even though we cannot see it up ahead. Men of God in days of old were famous for their faith.- Hebrews 11: 1-2 (TLB)
Faith is a life, and the strength of your faith is meant to take you up. Faith has no limitation and knows no boundary; no one can limit your faith except you. You are the only one who can limit your faith in your life.
Faith has no racial, economic, social, or religious boundary and it can be measured. Hebrews 11:1 “Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen” from the above scriptural reference, it means faith can be measured. Faith is an evidence; it is a proof. It is your faith that will produce things which people will see in your life.
As you feed yourself to be physically strong, so, also must you feed your human spirit with word of God in order to be strong spiritually. The food which faith thrives on is the word of God. But faith should not only be fed with the word, it must be used. Faith in our hearts should be exercised through regular use.
Even though God gave us the same measure of faith, there are different levels of faith. The rate at which we exercise the faith we have is different, hence the different levels of faith. “Little faith, weak in faith, strong faith, exceeding growing faith are different levels we have”.
To the extent you grow and exercise your faith is to the extent you enjoy and manifest the blessings and power of God in your life.
Prayer: O Lord, I am satisfied with your will in my life. By faith I stand in the good will, the acceptable will and your perfect will for my life in Jesus name.
