Daily Feast – April 3

Rejoice In The Lord

“Sing, O barren, You who have not borne! Break forth into singing, and cry aloud, You who have not labored with child! For more are the children of the desolate than the children of the married woman,” says the Lord.- Isaiah 54:1

No matter how flat you are in life, God’s ultimate intention and plan for you is to enlarge supernaturally. All that God has given you in life is for your expansion. The whole world expanded from a man and woman and through them, they are presently over 7 billion on earth. Even when the enemy polluted what God did in Eden; God still started all over again.

Don’t ever be unhappy and say you will not go further because your present circumstances seem contrary. The Bible records that when the whole earth was void, God said, let there be and even when God had not finished the work of creation, he still rejoiced. Some people are only waiting for success to come before they rejoice; so they spend their life always waiting for something that may never come. The irony of the matter is that such people might be successful already but they refused to acknowledge it.

How can you tell the barren to sing? Is she not supposed to cry? Yes, that may be the thinking of man but it is different from that of God. Isaiah 54:3.

As a believer, you are on a divine appointment and you cannot afford to miss it. My dear, rejoice during the ‘painful’ process God is taking you through. There is no product without process.

Focus is the ability to refuse distraction no matter how ugly the situation is. On your road to greatness, you may have only a few friends. You may even be insulted by men who deride your dream and what you believe. If you won’t give in to despair you will reach your goal. If you think you have received too much insult, then you need to ask Hannah, the mother of Samuel of the insult she got even from the prophet Eli, the High priest. Yet after receiving her miracle child, she still brought her son to the temple to be raised by the same prophet who insulted her.

No wonder Hannah became the mother of the great prophet Samuel in Israel. How come you feel discouraged and distracted by what people say about you? Don’t let the devil break your focus.

Prayer: My salvation, as a Christian does not insulate me from a trouble-free life. For every challenge, I encounter I receive grace to go through in Jesus Name.
