Daily Feast – April 5

Divine Opportunities

“Give, and it will be given to you: good measure, pressed down, shaken together, and running over will be put into your bosom. For with the same measure that you use, it will be measured back to you- Luke 6:38

Those who unlock their potentials in the Bible were people who took advantage of divine opportunities. God creates an opportunity for you and me to take advantage of them. Don’t let moments that are important pass you without doing something about it. The church in Philippi was a church that loved Paul.

They were endeared to him such that they were eager to sow seeds to him but they lacked opportunity to do so. When you see a servant of God, anointed and walking in holiness, sow seeds into such life because it is a fertile ground. When you are in the habit of doing this, it will go into your future to be harvested.

Opportunities should not be allowed to leave you. Many times people are looking for times that will be convenient and comfortable; however, the time may not be convenient as a divine opportunity cannot wait. In John 16, the woman with the costly alabaster box of oil broke it and anointed Jesus with it.

Do you know that Jesus was unable to take his bath after that event till he died? He would have smelled nice to the grave. What the woman did became a memorial for her anywhere the gospel is preached according to the word of God. This is because she never missed the divine opportunity to sow what she had to Jesus’ life. Take advantage of divine opportunities around you.

Prayer: Father, help me to discern each of your opportunities that come my way in Jesus name
