Judge not God’s anointed
Who are you to judge another’s servant? To his own master he stands or falls. Indeed, he will be made to stand, for God is able to make him stand - Romans 14:4
Beloved, even when it is obvious that an anointed makes a mistake, his judgement is not in your hand; leave judgment for the God who has called him. Stop wasting your time talking about people; rather, get settled and be focused on more profitable things. Let’s take into account of a man called Shimei who despised King David when he was running from Absalom, his son who was after his life.
At the time David was running from Absalom, Shimei threw stones at David and also cursed him. David, a man who was anointed by God to bring down Goliath and to reign over His people, was despised by a mere man. But a day came when Shimei was visited for his evil deeds. Even though Shimei later begged David for forgiveness, Solomon, the son of David took vengeance for what Shimei did to his father and he planned the execution of Shimei without violating the oath; he carefully set a trap for Shimei and he fell for it. Now ask yourself, "If Shimei had not confronted David, would he have been killed by Solomon?" Shimei's death all started in the place of dishonour through his actions and words of the mouth.
Beloved, be careful not to fight a man anointed by God, don’t sin against them and always remember that whatever happens, God does not leave the anointed without defence. The anointing on God's servant is meant to protect you but what should protect you may not be effective when you keep despising the man anointed by God. When honour is not in place, the anointing ceases to work. The ministry of Jesus in his hometown fell short of divine expectation because they took him for granted. Honours give access to the blessing
Even though Jesus intended to heal, the negative words of the people affected his ministry and He could not do any mighty miracle in their midst. Be determined to respond to the word of God and to the anointed in order to fully walk in divine blessing
Prayer: Father God, I ask and receive forgiveness for every attitude to the anointing that could grieve your Spirit. I receive help from the Holy Ghost as I choose to take charge of my spoken words in Jesus Name
