You are accountable to His Divine Call
For the gifts and the calling of God are irrevocable- Romans 11:29
Everyone created by God is important and accountable to Him. Many times, when I read in the Bible about how God pursued Jonah to respond to call, I often wonder why God didn't decide to use someone else. God used every means to make Jonah yield to His call. And I found out later that it was because God has invested in Jonah. As a child of God, God has invested in your life and He doesn't want His investment to be in vain. Regarding your call, God can never change His mind concerning your divine call.
Many people are called by God but they don't have time to respond to God's call; they think they can yield to divine call at their own convenient time. Sad to say, many of them continue in this folly till they die in their foolishness. I'm sure they didn't die because God wanted them to die untimely but because of their disobedience to divine call, God had to watch the devil afflict them until they repent. The main reason for our existence is to serve God; hence, it is better to be called to glory than to waste away in destiny. The fact that God has even called us before the foundation of the world is a huge mystery.
Note that no man can escape the call of God, no matter how much they try to run. The call of God will always be on you, as long as you live. If you can be faithful to your call, God will equip you more in your area of assignment. Only a bad father will send his son to a battle without giving him the needed weapon both to defend and to fight.
My brethren be careful of things that may want to put you out of God's call but the Bible admonishes us to be steadfast and unmovable, give no room for anything to get you frustrated out of God's will.
Prayer: Lord, help me to be sensitive to your marching order so that I will not miss any details in my journey of destiny in Jesus Christ Name.
