Reward Of The Righteous

Rejoice and be exceedingly glad, for great is your reward in heaven, for so they persecuted the prophets who were before you. - Matthew 5: 12

As there is a reward for everyone involved in a production of goods so also there is a reward for the righteous in the kingdom of God. A righteous person must know there is a reward for him. It brings him excitement. It does not make someone’s way to be dark.

Hope is not dashed when someone is rewarded for good things. Even he is full of joy before it happens. Many today are sad until they have testimonies to share with people. You are to be joyful before the reward of your labour comes because you know that God is for you.

There is hope for the righteous. People need to sing for joy in any situation they find themselves. In all things give thanks to God. I won’t know the area of your struggle. I won’t know what the economy of the country is saying, but the scripture says ‘sing, o barren: How does someone sing when she is barren? It is based on what she believes. How does someone enlarge when he does not know or have anybody? How does he plan big? All these are possible because of the integrity of the one that says you should do so. When you fully understand the mightiness of our God, whatever he says you will do. “Whatever He tells you, do it” that is the secret.
