Hold Fast To Your Confession
Let us hold fast the confession of our hope without wavering, for He who promised is faithful. - Hebrews 10:23
True deliverance comes when you open up to God and his word. A pretender has no place with God. Every person must know the purpose of God for his/her life. His prophecies are already in His word, so you do not need to guess and be frustrated. Don’t seek for prophecy study and act on His word. The word of God directed that the barren should sing (Isaiah 54:1-5). It is not advice; it is a command. The expectation is that those who believe God for the fruit of the womb must be singing and not moaning. Obedience to God’s word is what attracts solution to any challenge in life.
It is a waste of time and energy to go the opposite direction and expect God’s answer. Be like the woman whose faith is on God’s word against the counsel of a fake prophet who said that she would not bear children except she offers sacrifice. When the challenge of child confronted her, she did like God. She began to call things that were not as though they were. She held on to her faith and confessed that God had answered her even when she was yet to conceive. God honoured her faith.
Prayer is not vain repetition. Prayer is presenting issues to God according to His will. God’s response to your prayer is not determined by the duration. It is whether it aligns with His will (Matt 6:5). Your focus must be on God, not on what the devil is doing. You must press on and breakthrough. God is bigger than challenges of life. Think about the goodness of God, call no Him. Don’t accuse yourself; self-condemnation opens the door to the adversary. Don’t allow your body/ feeling to rule you. Maintain sensitivity to the Holy Spirit.
Prayer: I hold on to the confession of my faith without wavering because I know He is faithful. Thank you lord. Amen
