Faith that works by Love

For in Christ Jesus neither circumcision nor uncircumcision avails anything, but faith working through love.- Galatians 5:6

Love has feelings but feeling is not the same as love. It is true that there is no way you can love without having special feeling for who or what you love, but when it comes to genuine love, feeling does not come first. Lack of this understanding makes people fall out of love, because to them, love is all about feeling. Faith is essential for your success because the Bible says no one can bring God pleasure without having faith (Hebrews 11:6). God is capable of doing what He did in those days, even, now. He has not lost relevance in your life. He is as powerful today as He was yesterday (Hebrews 13:8).

You can learn from history, but you cannot continue to live in history. History is good because you can learn from history; and anyone who refuses to learn from history will definitely repeat the mistakes of the past. But as important as history is, we don’t live in the past but we live in the now. The past is in the grave, tomorrow is still in the womb but today is the day you have.

Our God is not only the God of the past; He is the God of the present reality. The Bible says; Jesus Christ is the same yesterday, today and forever. So, faith is relevant in our lives. Faith is not inferior to love. The Bible says of these three (Faith, Hope and love) the greatest of them is love. Only because when we get to heaven, love still continues.
