Weapon of Praise

Out of the mouth of babes and nursing infants You have ordained strength, Because of Your enemies, That You may silence the enemy and the avenger- Psalm 8:2

Weapon of praises is an instrument for success in life. The Word “Most High” is El-elyon; meaning the God that when you climb to Him, there is no further place to climb. When Nebuchadnezzar came back from insanity and got restored back to his Kingdom, the first thing he said about God is that you are the “most high” who ruleth 1n the affairs of men. When you do not allow Him to rule, He overrules. The Psalmist in the above passage says I will praise the Lord with my whole heart. The praises that God will accept is the one that comes from your heart. That first reason why God ordained praise is that He wants it to be the instrument to fight your enemies. (Look at Psalm 149)

Praising the Lord is an honour that the entire saints have. When you want God to reverse the order and take the battle to the camp of your enemies, just praise Him. Nothing scatters your enemies faster than the weapon of praises. Praise stops Satan right on his track. Praise is what we are to use in calling to a halt Satan's incursion in our lives. Are you his saint? Praise ye the Lord. God wants to punish your enemy; He wants to stop the devil on its track. He did not say if the enemy shall turn back. He said, 'when', that means; it is a matter of time. You cannot praise God and be empty because he will fight for you.

In the days of Paul and Silas in Acts 16, they went to preach in Macedonia because of the vision that God gave to Paul. Thank God for Paul and Silas; they said, you can bind our feet, but you cannot bind our mouths. At midnight, Paul and Silas remembered the principle in Psalm 8:2 And at midnight, Paul and Silas prayed, and sang praises unto God: and the prisoners heard them (Act 16:25). That midnight could stand for many things in our lives. They used the instrument of praises, and the prisoner heard them. So, they did not sing ' quietly, they were very loud about it. They did not think about what other people around them will say. And suddenly there was a great earthquake, so that the foundations of the prison were Shaken: and immediately all the doors were opened, and every one’s bands were loosed (Acts 16: 26). It will always work; it is a matter of time. Everyone's chains were loosed including other prisoners that were with Paul and Silas.
