Doing Your Part (1)

Whosoever cometh to me, and heareth my sayings, and doeth them, I will shew you to whom he is like:He is like a man w hich built an house, and digged deep, and laid the foundation on a rock: and when the flood arose, the stream beat vehemently upon that house, and could not shake it: for it was founded upon a rock. But he that heareth, and doeth not, is like a man that without a foundation built an house upon the earth; against which the stream did beat vehemently, and immediately it fell; and the ruin of that house was great. - Luke 6:47-49

Life is 10% inspiration and 90% perspiration; whenever you separate the two, things do not work out. Many are without vision; they have no focus of where they are going in life. Life is not static; things are changing but God has not changed. God has blessed men in the past and He can still bless you. God wants you to leave the past failure behind you and plan for your future. Stop complaining about economic recession in the world; God is always there for His children.

Some know what God is saying but they do not attend to it. They think others will call them foolish, so they prefer to listen to their rational mind. Even though they are born again, they still fail; not because God has failed but because of their foolish actions. They are afraid of being ridiculed by others. God wants to empower and bless you, but God also wants you to attend to everything He tells you. It is not only the hearer that is blessed but the doer.

Information can be gotten from the natural realm through natural wisdom, but revelation can only be gotten through the Spirit of God. As a believer, you are to walk by revelation; only revelation will advance your life. When you walk by revelation, God will teach you what to do with your life and you will succeed, even where many have failed.

Many years ago, I was about to travel to the Northern part of the country for a research, the Lord told me the result of the research work even before I started. The Lord said there was not much oil in that area but mainly gas. But if I had written just a line as the outcome of my research, nobody would have awarded me a PhD in Petroleum Geochemistry. How could you do a research for years and at the end of it write out a line as your result? So, I had to spend the next five years trying to prove it. What I knew five years ago by revelation took me a whole five years to know by information. That is why you are not to walk by information alone lest you be slowed down in life.
