 I will extol thee, my God, O king; and I will bless thy name for ever and ever. 2 Every day will I bless thee; and I will praise thy name for ever and ever. 3 Great is the LORD, and greatly to be praised; and his greatness is unsearchable.- Psalm 145:1-3

PRAYER OF THANKSGIVING

1. Father, we thank you for keeping and protecting us all through the year (Ps. 145:1-3)
2. Father, thank you for confirming your words in the mouth of your servants all through the year 2023 (1Sam.3:19)
3. Thank Him for His divine power which gave all members things that pertain to life and godliness (2 Peter. 1:3)

PRAYER FOR THE NATION

1. In the name of Jesus, we declare and decree that the enemy shall not exact upon us, nor the son of the wicked afflict us in this nation in the name of Jesus. (Psalm 89:22-23)
2. Father, we ask that you direct the heart and mind of Nigerian leaders to make decisions that will lead the country in godly ways and according to Your Word. (Proverbs 21:1)
3. Father, we ask that you help our leaders – and help us – not to be divided, but to commit to working cooperatively for the common good of our nation in the name of Jesus.

PRAYER FOR THE COMMISSION

1. Father, let there be a flow of great harvest in all the branches of the ministry worldwide in the name of Jesus. (Act. 11:24, Jn. 4:35)
2. Father, let the mighty rushing wind of what you are doing in this house draw multitudes into this assignment in the name of Jesus. (Acts 2:2-6)
3. O Lord, let your glory be our regular experience this coming year in the name of Jesus. (Haggai 2:7, II Cor. 5:12-14)
4. In the name of Jesus, I set ablaze all gates of hell that may resist the influx of souls into this church this year (Matthew 16:18)

PRAYERS FOR OUR PARENTS IN THE LORD

1. We pray that the supernatural presence of the Holy Spirit will be made evident at every declaration of the word of God in the mouth of our parents in the Lord & ministry, in Jesus name. (Acts 3:6)
2. Father, let there be divine health, and strength for your servants, and their families. (Isa.41:10)
3. O Lord, let the heavens over your servant be perpetually opened for unusual revelation leading to unspeakable progress in the lives of every member this year 2024 in the name of Jesus.
4. O Lord, let there be a release and an outpour of fresh oil upon your servants for greater impact in the Name of Jesus. (Psalm 89:20)

PRAYERS FOR THE MINISTRY/MISSION

1. We destroy every satanic network that may want to stand against the progress of the church in Jesus name. (Job 5:12)
2. O Lord, increase the efficacy and impact of every ministry outreach this year in the name of Jesus. (Luke 8:8-15) Increase of fruitfulness in every area.
3. Father, cause every lost soul across our harvest field to hear and yield to the compelling sound of the Holy Spirit all through this year and be drafted to this church with speed in the name of Jesus. (Isaiah 5:26)
4. O Lord, open the ministry into more nations of the world and give us a greater global harvest. (Act. 8:26-38. Zech. 3:10, Ps. 68:31)
5. Enlist God’s help for the ministry in all spheres of our mission assignment.

PRAYER FOR THE CHURCH LEADERSHIP

1. Lord, cause the hearts of the Leaders in our ministries to be on fire for you. Grant them zeal and passion for the kingdom. (Psa.69:9)
2. Father, empower every Pastor and Unit leader with the grace to continue to administer life to all members in their respective domains in the name of Jesus. (1 Peter 4:11) We pray that the Lord will protect their families.
3. We break off every spirit of slothfulness that may want to limit the work of our leaders in the kingdom of God.
4. O lord, strengthen our leaders to obey you at any cost in Jesus name. Cause them to prosper in their vocation; making a difference in their finance and family.

PRAYER FOR WORKFORCE/ STEWARDSHIP

1. Father, by your Spirit; empower every worker of the Name of Jesus Ministries to function effectively with the spiritual gifts that you have given us in the name of Jesus. (1 Peter 4:10-11, 1 Corinthians 12:7) (Matt. 23:28)
2. We pray for a new vigour to serve the Lord; a renewed desire to do His work; and a new strength to carry out His assignment in Jesus name. 

PRAYER FOR CHURCH GROWTH

1. We pray that our churches will grow, new churches will be planted and the kingdom of God will be expanded. (Act.7:17)
2. We scatter every stronghold of the enemy in the hearts of members that causes them not to be able to reach out to lost souls.
3. Father, by the instrumentalities of your word and your spirit, we destroy every blindfolding power of the enemy aimed at preventing multitudes from getting saved and established in this church this year 2024 in the name of Jesus. (2 Corinthians 4:4)
4. We pray that the communication of our faith becomes effective by our lives and output in Jesus Name.

PRAYER FOR CHURCH MEMBERSHIP/CONVERTS

1. Father, we call forth labourers for the perfecting of the saints and for the edification of the Body in love in the name of Jesus. (Ephesians 4:12)
2. O Lord, let there be an increase in the knowledge of your will and spiritual understanding among us in the year 2024. (Colossians 1:9)
3. Father, let the fire and passion for soul-winning be sparked afresh in all our members in Jesus name. (Matt. 28:18)
4. Father, we command the blessings of heaven upon all our new converts. We pray that they will encounter their desired miracles by the word of truth in this house in Jesus name.

PERSONAL PRAYERS

9 And so, from the day we heard, we have not ceased to pray for you, asking that you may be filled with the knowledge of his will in all spiritual wisdom and understanding, 10 so as to walk in a manner worthy of the Lord, fully pleasing to him, bearing fruit in every good work and increasing in the knowledge of God. 11 May you be strengthened with all power, according to his glorious might, for all endurance and patience with joy, 12 giving thanks to the Father, who has qualified you to share in the inheritance of the saints in light. - Colossians 1:9-12

1. Pray for a life that is lived worthy of Christ’s life in you and pleasing to Him.
2. Pray for a fruitful life through good works.
3. Pray for an increased knowledge of God.
4. Pray for strength and power for endurance in this life through the glorious might of God who has qualified you for the inheritance of Christ Jesus
