With all prayer and petition pray with specific request at all times on every occasion and in every season in the Spirit and with this in view; stay alert with all perseverance and petition ( interceding in prayer for God’s people) - Ephesians 6:18 (Amplified Version)

PRAYER OF THANKSGIVING

1. We thank you o Lord for all you have done in our lives and in our midst in 2023, for we are no more where we were last year.
2. Thank you Father for all the provisions and protections we have enjoyed in this year 2023.
3. Thank you for your thoughts towards us which are thoughts of peace and not of evil.
4. Father we thank you for the expected ends you have prepared for us for year 2024.

PRAYER FOR THE NATION

1. Pray that the nation will experience prosperity once again. The vine shall give its fruit and the ground shall give her increase in Jesus name. Zac 8:11-12
2. Nigeria will blossom abundantly and there will be a sound of rejoicing again Isa 35:1-2
3. We silence the mouth of evil men. We frustrate evil doers in the corridor of power in Jesus. They shall end like Ahithophel.

PRAYER FOR THE COMMISSION 

1. We receive divine strategies to reach more nations of the world with the gospel in Jesus name.
2. God will send labourers to this work to take it to the end of the earth.
3. The nations of the world are opened to the ministry in Jesus name.
4. Prepare us and open us to global ministration through the prophetic outpouring of your power (Act. 16:6-10)

PRAYER FOR OUR PARENTS IN THE LORD

1. Let us bless the name of the Lord for how far He has helped our parents in the Lord. Let's thank Him for guidance, protection and favour over their lives.
2. That God will continue to strengthen and uphold them. 2Cor 12:10, Isa 40:31, 41:10.
3. As the Lord opens more doors to our parents, let us bind every opposition to their open doors. Rev 3:9, Col 4:3, 1 Cor 16:9.
4. Let us come against every plan of the enemy against our parents, that the counsel of the evil one shall not prevail against them. Eph 6:12, 1 Pt 5:8-9, Ps 64:2, 33:10.
5. Declare God’s shield and cover for our father and Mother in the Lord, from every dart of the enemies. No weapon formed against our parents in the lord and others shall prosper, in Jesus name. Isa. 54:17

PRAYER FOR MISSION AND THE MINISTRY 

1. We pray for Holy Ghost directions that will usher men and women into their specific missions and assignments in the New Year.
2. Set every soul on fire for divine assignments o Lord.
3. The ministry shall fulfil its part in the end time agenda of God in Jesus name. Col 4:17
4. Let us pray for every arm of the ministry that the purpose for the establishment shall be fulfilled. Ps 33:11,
5. Let us begin to lift up the school arm to God and pray that every student that pass through our school will have a divine encounter with God and live to fulfil purpose. Rm 16:23. Acts 18:25.
6. Pray for the power media, hour of power and divine encounter arms that the power of God will be available to save, heal, delivers and wrought signs and wonders through them. Mark 16:15-17, Acts 1:8, 1 Cor 1:18.

PRAYER FOR CHURCH LEADERSHIP 

1. Let us begin to pray for all the pastors in the church that the grace and anointing of God will be on the increase in our lives. 2 Tim 2:1
2. Let us receive a full measure of God’s grace upon our lives that will lead to fruitfulness and growth in our various branches. Eph 3:7.
3. Let us pray for the seven- fold in-filling of the Holy Spirit upon all our pastors Isa 11:2.
4. The Lord will give us leaders with visions. Men who will be positioned to see the visions of God. Ezek 1:1, Hab 1:1
5. The Lord will give us an eagle eye to see ahead. The eyes to see into the future.
6. We receive grace to serve God acceptably in our place of assignment and the Grace to do the will of God while leading the people of God. Heb 12: 28

PRAYER FOR WORKFORCE AND STEWARDSHIP

1. Pray that the Spirit of God would ignite our workforce with fresh passion for fulfilling their purpose.
2. Lord, let your gifts be activated in us once again (1 Tim.4:14-16) and let us serve your purpose wholeheartedly (Col.3:23)
3. Father, rekindle in us the fire of revival to please you in all our ways and let us be consumed by the zeal of your house. Ps 69:9

PRAYER FOR CHURCH GROWTH

1. That God will continue to add to us numerically, physically and financially. Gen 22:17.
2. We shall experience a notable increase in the year 2024. The word of the Lord will prosper and prevail through the ministry.
3. We Command kings and queens to bring our sons and daughters from far and near to come and serve God with us, Isa 60:4-5, 10.

PRAYER FOR CHURCH MEMBERSHIP/CONVERTS 

1. Let us pray for our converts that they will be grounded and rooted in the love and knowledge of God. Amos 9:15.
2. Silence every lying tongue that may want to discourage or distract them from serving the living God. Ps 120:2
3. We pray that our members will be ruled by the fear of the Lord. They will have a heart that trembles at the word of the Lord. Isa 66:2

PERSONAL PRAYERS

For what thanks can we render to God again for you, for all the joy wherewith we joy for your sakes before our God; 10 Night and day praying exceedingly that we might see your face, and might perfect that which is lacking in your faith? 11 Now God himself and our Father, and our Lord Jesus Christ, direct our way unto you. 12 And the Lord make you to increase and abound in love one toward another, and toward all men, even as we do toward you: - 1 Thessalonians .3:9-12

1. Pray that our labour, commitment and work will bring joy to the heart of God in Jesus name
2. Pray that the Lord will give strength to our faith, and perfect whatever is lacking in our walk with God in Jesus name.
3. Pray that in 2024, the Lord will make you to increase or abound in love one toward another and toward all men in Jesus Name.
