With all prayer and petition pray with specific request at all times on every occasion and in every season in the Spirit and with this in view; stay alert with all perseverance and petition ( interceding in prayer for God’s people) - Ephesians 6:18 (Amplified Version)
THANKSGIVING FOR THE PAST YEAR
- We thank you o Lord for all you have done in our lives and in our midst in 2024, for we are no more where we were last year.
- Thank you Father for all the provisions and protections we have enjoyed in this year 2024.
- Thank you for your thoughts towards us which are thoughts of peace and not of evil.
- Father we thank you for the expected ends you have prepared for us for year 2025.
PRAYERS FOR THE NATION
- 1Timothy 2:1-2, Psalm 122: 6. Let us thank God His mercies and move in our nation despite all the wickedness of the devil.
- Oh LORD, let the covenant of peace be experienced as we go into 2025.
- Oh LORD, deliver us from every wickedness in Nigeria from the leaders to the followers
- O LORD, arise and scatter every enemy of progress in Nigeria at all devils
- Let us witness your new developments of great turn around in all sectors in Nigeria in 2025
- Pray for divine direction and right decisions for our leaders through the help of Holy Spirit.
PRAYERS FOR THE COMMISSION
- Pray that the gospel will have continuing transformation effect: locally, nationally and internationally.
- Declare open doors for the gospel of Christ: locally, nationally and globally Acts 14:27, I Cor.16:19
- Pray that God should raise up kingdom financiers Lk.8: 1-3, Acts 16:13-14
- Pray that the word of God grows mighty and prevails, Acts 19:20, II Thes.3:1
- Stand against every plan and force of darkness that is set to impair or damage the works of God in this commission.
- Pull down every gate of hell the devil may raise up to against this great commission.
- Frustrate every strategy of the devil to usurp the flow of God’s power and grace over this commission. Eph.6:12-18, IPet. 5:7-8
PRAYER FOR OUR PARENTS IN THE LORD
- Acts 19: 11-18, 20 We pray for and receive copious Apostolic auction on our Daddy for special miracles as he ministers in preaching and teaching in and outside of Jesus Chapel meetings.
- Lord let there be great signs, wonders, healings and miracles attending his ministrations in Jesus Name. We receive great conversion of souls and great numbers of believers into the Kingdom of God.
- Your Word O Lord shall grow mightily and prevail through preaching and teaching from the mouth of our Parents in the Lord in Jesus Name.
- Acts 28: 28 We receive more numbers of hearers of the word of God in the mouth of our Daddy and Mummy in the Lord. People will not only hear the word, but become great company of believers and followers of the Word into the Kingdom of God and branches of Jesus Chapel in Jesus Name.
- Romans 1:11, For every preaching, teaching, counseling and apostolic ministration, we pray for great impartation, diverse release of the gifts of God and that of the Holy Ghost to the congregation in Jesus Name
- Apostolic unction that ward off strange and demonic presence we experience in our churches and gathering in Jesus Name. Strange spirit and presence of people like Alexander and Dementrius, Simon the sorcerer we rebuke from our churches in Jesus Name. There shall be free flow of the unction, power and anointing of God in Jesus Name. 2Tim 4:14-18; Acts 19:24
- Lord, the more by your great grace stand and strengthen our parents in the Lord all around, personal life, family life, Church Ministries in Jesus Name. We also receive great support of the Angelic ministrations.
PRAYER FOR MISSION AND THE MINISTRY
- O Lord make our members working or schooling outside of the location of Jesus Chapel worthy ambassadors of this great Church like the young girl in the house of Naaman the Syrian Army commander (I Kg 5: 2-5)
- Let us declare and prophesy that in 2025, we will all be COME AND SEE AGENT of the Name of Jesus Ministry attracting new comers and believers into the church (John 1:39, 46, 11: 34; Rev 6: 3-7
- O Lord we pray for new and greater dimension of harvests, attendance and flow of Holy Spirit gifts and miracles in 2025 NOJC
- Declare Genesis 26:23
PRAYER FOR CHURCH LEADERSHIP
- Ps 69: 9: Pray for great revival of passion for lost souls and the spirit of house to house evangelism
- That the zeal of the Lord’s house shall consume us in 2025 more than ever before
- Lord raise and increase the spirit of result driven intercessors like the children of Evangelist Phillip, Kingdom financiers like Barnabas and Onesimus, Soul winners, devout men and women like in Luke 8 of the women.
- Grant unto us the spirit of Kingdom Builders like Nehemiah and Ezra, make it work spirit.
- We resist the spirit of Lukewarmness, procastination, murmuring and unreasonableness in Jesus Name
- I Cor 11: 34; 14:40. O Lord, we submit to the spirit of orderliness, decorum and oneness in 2025
- Let all things be done decently and in order in 2025 in Jesus Name
PRAYER FOR WORKFORCE AND STEWARDSHIP
- Pray that the Spirit of God would ignite our workforce with fresh passion for fulfilling their purpose.
- O Lord God, deliver us from passion killers like complacency,, familiarity, worries, lack, sickness, laziness etc. (Matt.3:11-12. Luke 3:16. Acts 2:3-4)
- . Lord, let your gifts be activated in us once again (1 Tim.4:14-16) and let us serve your purpose wholeheartedly (Col.3:23)
- Father, rekindle in us the fire of revival to please you in all our ways and let us be consumed by the zeal of your house. Ps.69:9
PRAYER FOR CHURCH GROWTH
- Let us receive a full measure of God’s grace upon our lives that will lead to fruitfulness and growth in our various branches. Eph 3:7.
- We break up our fallow grounds. We remove hindrances for growth and spiritual development. We turn our hearts to the Lord in righteousness and truth Hos 10:12
- We pray that as many that are still in the valley of decision, the light of the Lord will shine in their heart in Jesus name. Joel 3:14, 2 Cor. 4:6
PRAYER FOR CHURCH MEMBERSHIP/CONVERTS
- Father, in the Name of Jesus; cause every member to grow up into maturity in the knowledge of Christ and His Word. (Ephesians 4:11-13)
- Father, in the name of Jesus, give your angels charge over the movement of all members of this commission in the year 2025 against all forms of disasters and personal calamities. (Psalm 91:11)
- Lord, we pray that you sustain our fervency, spiritual diligence and give us a burning heart for you.(Rom.12:11)
- Father, make our new converts light indeed. They will never be covered by darkness again in Jesus name. (Matt.5:14)
PERSONAL PRAYERS
- Pray for knowledge of the will of God.
- Pray for a life that is lived worthy of Christ’s life in you and pleasing to Him.
- Pray for a fruitful life through good works.
- Pray for an increased knowledge of God.
- Pray for strength and power for endurance in this life through the glorious might of God who has qualified you for the inheritance of Christ Jesus
