Benefits of Right Anointed Covering

Then the Lord came down in the cloud, and spoke to him, and took of the Spirit that was upon him, and placed the same upon the seventy elders; and it happened, when the Spirit rested upon them, that they prophesied... - Numbers 11:25

Great Blessing: the ministry of an anointed man preserves life. Where the anointing is honoured, the anointed man becomes an agent of great blessing. Your spouse, children, government, or your career are not the actual agents of change, it is the anointed.

Deliverance: when you come under the anointed one, God makes you outlive your enemies. There is something about the anointing that delivers the captive.

Agent to Receive the Anointing: God does not put His anointing upon just anybody; He makes it rest on His vessel and spreads the anointing through him/her. For instance, through Moses, God put the anointing on seventy elders and through Elijah, Elisha got anointed in a greater measure.

Knowing the Will of God: Jonah knew the will of God and he pronounced it to the Ninevites. If not for the ministry of Jonah, the city of Nineveh would have come to ruin earlier than it came to ruin

Prosperity and Abundance: in the account given about the widow of Zarephath, the woman would have died of hunger with her son if not for the ministry of Elijah. Instead of dying, the woman became prosperous because of the anointing on Elijah.

Healing: Naaman would have died a leper if he had not connected with the anointing on Elisha. Certainly, Naaman was not the only leper in the city but none of them connected to the anointed, and so they died with their leprosy.

God honours those He anoints; hence beloved, be warned about how not to relate with the anointed. In view of these facts, a man who thinks he can be great without the anointing does that to his own hurt. Beloved, those who despise the anointing will eventually lose out.
