Daily Feast – April 15

Fruitfulness

You did not choose Me, but I chose you and appointed you that you should go and bear fruit, and that your fruit should remain, that whatever you ask the Father in My name He may give you.- John 15:16

It is God’s command that ye be fruitful, why? It is because you did not choose him; he choose you. I therefore admonish you not to live below the power that is inside of you. Beloved, find out what your potential is, there must be a self-discovery of the seed of greatness in you. Pressure brings out either the best or the worst in you. Don’t let pressure bring out the worst of you. Quit listening to accusing voices God did not call us into a life of struggles and He can do amazing things for us.

We all experience disappointments at one time or the other; the disciples were disappointed that Jesus was asleep while they were struggling with death on the stormy sea. Quit giving away your power because of fear and anxiety about your future and the uncertainty of life. Never allow frustration around your life; the fact that the situation is difficult means that something amazing is about to happen in your future.

When some are under attack, they say God has left them” No! don’t see issues that way, Rather, see it that you are very important to get the devil’s attention. This is because no robber robs an empty house. It is only an insane man that throws a stone at a fruitless mango tree. If you are fruitful, the enemy will hate you so why care about that? Do you remember the woman of Shumen who was blessed with a son through Elisha? When the child died, she requested to see the man of God.

It is quite disheartening that there are times believers use their mouths to ruin what God has done. As a child of the kingdom, you must be careful about what you say. Thoughts come to everybody; whether godly or evil and you may not be able to stop wrong thought from coming to you but you must never express it. Kenyon said “thoughts may come, even thought may persist but thought that are not expressed die unborn. All the same, be careful not to allow any evil thought to linger in your heart. Why? It is because when the thought lingers for a long time, it may eventually find expression through your mouth.

Prayer: Dear Lord, help me to be fruitful in all areas of my life in Jesus name Amen.
