Daily Feast – April 28

The God Who Can Be Trusted

For what if some did not believe? Will their unbelief make the faithfulness of God without effect? Certainly not! Indeed, let God be true but every man a liar. As it is written: “That You may be justified in Your words,
And may overcome when You are judged.”- Romans 3:3-4

Faith is trusting and resting on God’s love when it seems life makes no sense. Ignorance is a killer because it keeps you from knowing the truth. The book of Prophet Hosea Chapter 4 v 6 says “My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge. God cannot bless ignorance and unbelief. It is knowledge that brings relief from ignorance. Knowledge helps people to know what God has made available for them in redemption. People who do not know their rights are always cheated, used and abandoned. So, if you don’t want the devil to rob you of what is yours, you must have knowledge of what faith is and how it can be used for victory in the midst of every challenge.

From having knowledge, you must accept God’s words as true. Some people have knowledge, but they are too smart to believe in God’s word. They claim not to believe what is intangible or what they cannot prove, they cannot bring themselves to believe whatever they cannot see. Even in the natural, there are many things you cannot see with naked eyes, but you believe, like bacterial, virus etc. You believe they exist and are in the atmosphere. In the same vein, even though you cannot see the devil and demons they are real. But thank God that the angels of God are also real. So, therefore, to enter the realm you must know that God is true, God is not a liar. Any other thing can fail; government, spouses, relatives, all these can fail but not God. Faith is believing the God who can be trusted.

Prayer: Father God, I trust and rest on your love for saving me by grace through faith. I refuse to stagger at your promises for my life through unbelief. By faith, I say yes to all your promises in my life in Jesus Name.
