Daily Feast – December 23

God loves you just the way He loves Jesus

I in them, and You in Me; that they may be made perfect in one, and that the world may know that You have sent Me, and have loved them as You have loved Me. - John 17:23

Know that the Father will treat you the same way He treats Jesus...that is awesome! Some natural parents love one child more than the other, just like Isaac loved Esau more than Jacob while Rebecca loved Jacob more. Life has preferences and having a preference of one over the other does not necessarily mean one is better than the other; it's just a matter of having preference.

God the Father doesn't love Jesus more than He loves you. That is wonderful, isn't it? Humans show partiality but God doesn't. If you are His child, He calls you His son and He loves us the same. Which implies that God loves you the same way He loves Jesus, therefore you have no cause to worry. What can the enemy do to a child of God, whom the Father loves and protects?

You don't have to be afraid of life challenges or what human beings can do. If God is on your side, it doesn't matter what anybody thinks about you; men's opinion concerning you does not hold water. Man's opinions are mere distraction so stop being sorry for yourself when the enemy is against you. God knows how to use the enemy's wickedness to advance you. Stop pitying yourself when the enemies fight you, God is using their wickedness as a platform to your greatness.

Beloved, if God is on your side, you can never lose. Amid trials and test, you can confidently say, "I am not alone because the Father loves me". So, stop feeling sorry for yourself even when people forsake you. Do you know the devil is watching whether you will give up or not? So, get close to the Father through the Word and begin to walk in the light of what you know about Him. The Father is with you as He was with Jesus so you can always feel secure and safe in His love. God cares for you, don't behave as if He doesn't care. If God cares, why kill yourself with worry over everything?

Prayer: Oh Lord, open my eyes of understanding to comprehend your love for my life so that I would access all you have for me in destiny in Jesus Name
