Daily Feast – February 10

Power Of Confession

But what does it say? “The word is near you, in your mouth and in your heart” (that is, the word of faith which we preach): that if you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you will be saved. For with the heart one believes unto righteousness, and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation. - Romans 10: 8-10

If your word cannot be trusted so you are. A man is as good as his word. God is good because His word is good. How do I know that? Have I seen God before? No, but I have seen and heard His word. Be addicted to the word of God. Nothing unlocks your potential and enlargement than being a man or woman of God’s word. The Ministry of Jesus is based on the word. (Luke 4:18). Some are attracted to churches where everything revolves around fighting the devil. We think that we must fight storms in order to conquer but, we can walk over storms. You can use the name of Jesus to fight the devil and the word of God to walk over the devil. The bible did not say pray deliverance; the more of the word that is coming to you, the more delivered you become. If you want more deliverance in every area of your life, in your finance, health, future then take the word. Luke 5:1; Matt 9:35.

Miracle will come automatically in your life if you have time for the word. Some are so willing to enjoy the best of God, but they cannot act. There is power in confession. Confession brings possession when it is based on God’s word. Confessing God’s word in the face of challenges renews someone’s mind and causes faith to come. Failure to confess God’s word disallows believers from enjoying their possessions in Christ. God is not going to do anything for people until they start on what they know. That is why they must confess the promises of God to all their situations.

People must hold fast their profession and their continuous confession of their redemption so that Satan will no longer run over them. Always confess God’s word everywhere. Confession is a spiritual antidote to satanic oppression. Confession removes oppression when it is rooted in God’s word.

Prayer: By my confession of the word of God, I hold up the blood of Jesus Christ. Satan I boldly declare to you do not come near me or my household. The blood of Jesus is my shield. You are a defeated foe and your works have been destroyed.
