Power To Subdue

Then God said, “Let Us make man in Our image, according to Our likeness; let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, over the birds of the air, and over the cattle, over all the earth and over every creeping thing that creeps on the earth.” - Genesis 1:26

“But if any provide not for his own especially for those of his own house, he hath denied the faith and is worse than an infidel.”

A man does not have the right to be called the head if he fails to take care of his home. The more you are responsible the more God gives you power to rule. That is why you cannot be a serious Christian and not be responsive. Your destiny must bring you results. You have to conquer also. For you to conquer and subdue this world system that is competing with God’s plans you must have a positive mind to think, say and act like an overcomer. We are victors created in the image and likeness of God and no gate of hell should bring you down.

If Christ defeated the devil for us, why does the devil do so many things against us? If we say the devil was defeated, why are people still having trouble with him in this world? If you say that Jesus gave us victory, why does the devil still dominate many people? Why?

Mathew 18: 18 “Verily I say unto you, whatsoever ye shall bind on earth shall be bound in heaven and whatsoever ye shall loose on earth shall be loosed in heaven”. It is because people allow the devil to do so, and whatever you allow is what is allowed in your life. The bible devil is defeated already. The only power he has is the one you give him by your words or confession.

If you allow somebody to put his leg upon your head and you live with that oppression, he will do it until you stand up against it. You don’t have to put up with things that God has not willed for you and thanks to God the Bible is the Book of His will. Bible says “Resist the devil and he will flee from you.” What if you don’t resist him, he will abide and torment you.

Prayer: Dear father, I choose as a matter of my will to exercise my dominion in every area on earth in Jesus Name, Amen.
