Daily Feast – February 3

Enemies Of Vision

Go to the ant, you sluggard! Consider her ways and be wise, Which, having no captain, Overseer or ruler, Provides her supplies in the summer, And gathers her food in the harvest. How long will you slumber, O sluggard? When will you rise from your sleep? A little sleep, a little slumber, A little folding of the hands to sleep— So shall your poverty come on you like a prowler, And your need like an armed man. - Proverbs 6:6-11

Poor self- image: Be buoyant from your inside and maximally exploit the advantages of what God had given to you in redemption.

Discouragement:  It is mandatory to fully appreciate the fact that the day you were born again, you became a new creation. Declare to yourself always that you are somebody; you are destined for greatness.

Intimidation: Guard your vision jealously. You are not to start big in life and don’t live a false life. Do not live on the false value of life (Zech. 4:10).

Procrastination: Do not postpone today for tomorrow. The graveyard is replete with men who died with their ideas due to procrastination.

Laziness: Be a runner. Do not be lazy or slothful working the vision.

Don’t walk by sight (2Cor. 5:7, Gal 5:25)

The failure of others. The fact that someone fails God does not presuppose that you will also fail. Enoch walked with God without blame, Lot and his household lived righteous life in Sodom and Gomorrah.

Presumption: This is opposite of the fear of God. It is to have a conceited idea of oneself.

Corruption: Your degree of influence astronomically increases with God’s dealings in your life, but corruption can reduce it to rubbles. Don’t open any door to corruption in your life.

Arrogance: Walk in humility before God. When you associate with people who talk to your life, it will prevent you from entering into the traps of the flatterers. Read 2 Chronicles 26: 5, 16.

Prayer: I confess I am strong in the lord and in the power of His might. I withstand every wiles of the enemy against the vision of God for my life. I destroy in the mighty name of Jesus every vision eater, Amen.
