Daily Feast – February 8

Divine Security

The steps of a good man are ordered by the Lord, And He delights in his way. - Psalm 37: 23

Riches and wealth are pointers to God’s blessing in the life of the children of God. It is not their security as some will say that when you have money, you have everything. It is only God that gives total security. It is when we are in Christ that we are totally secured. God has unlimited power to defend our lives if only we can dwell in Him.

How wonderful are God’s works on earth? For example, lions do sleep in the day while they work in the night so that man can work in the day and sleep in the night. Lions sleep in the day when people are working so that they will not cross their way while they are working.

God delights in ordering our steps if we choose to follow His marching order. He is in the business of ordering the steps of a good man but not a wicked man. His vision becomes our direction when we know where we are going in life. “Your Rod and Staff, they comfort me” the rod of God is for correction and His staff for direction.  There is no reason for stress when we are following His direction. Following His direction is a way of accessing His unlimited resources for our living. You are under stress because of trying to become something God did not plan for you. God does not know how to sustain what He does not make for you. Just follow Him because He knows what you need.

Psalm 91:1. Says He that dwells in the secret place of the Lord shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty. Your location or abode determines how safe you will be in life. There are darkness and challenges in the World, so the word of God advised you to come to the place of safety. You can’t secure your ways by mental and physical intelligence.

Stop worrying about life because God has plans for His people. Stop struggling in life. Until God is involved in man’s work, struggle continues. Don’t ever think God can lose control. He is already the controller of the whole universe.

Prayer: Father, I declare by my confession that I am stress free and God is ordering my steps in Jesus name. Amen.
