Divine Companionship

Two are better than one, Because they have a good reward for their labor.-Ecclesiastes 4:9

One of the main reasons for being in the church is for spiritual companionship. “How good and pleasant it is for brethren to dwell together in unity”. God brings us (different parts with different unctions) together as a team in the kingdom. What could ever make a believer abandon the gathering of the saints if not for the strategy of hell to destroy? One of the strongest weapons used by God and the Devil is unity and disunity, respectively. The enemy wants to isolate us so he can fight to defeat us. If the man with one talent had gone to the other two, he probably would have learnt from them how to trade and make profit with what he was given, instead, he isolated himself because he was jealous. He felt the master was not fair enough to him, but God will not give us what we cannot handle. He gave them according to their abilities.

As a believer, do not isolate yourself because we will keep learning every day until we finally get to heaven. Have a listening ear and consider issues properly instead of making up your mind rashly. Even Jesus our Lord did not do his earthly ministry alone. You cannot run your life alone, no matter how good you are; this is why it is dangerous for a man to ignore his wife. Even your children can contribute positively to your life. When you embrace teamwork, you get praised for something that others have done for you. God knows the importance of companionship and that is why he instituted marriage. Let your family be united. Show your children good examples of how to work in a team.

Prayer: Dear father, help me not to live an isolated life. I will remain in the company of God’s children. I won’t break my rank in Jesus name. Amen
