Daily Feast – January 7

Be A Great Thinker

For as he thinks in his heart, so is he. “Eat and drink!” he says to you, But his heart is not with you. -Proverb 23:7

God is the greatest thinker and originator of all things. If God dwells in you, God in you will envelop your thinking faculty and men will see you as a great thinker. So, the first thing is to have the greatest thinker residing in you. Those who do great things are thinkers. You must be a good thinker and your thinking must be deep enough to become what God wants you to be in life. Because life itself is not fair to anybody, you must give life a fight. When your thinking is deep, your action will be informed. When you take action based on the information you have, your life will be rich. Get facts about issues, without it, your thinking will be cloudy and invariably, your actions will be wrong. The man with one talent has no deep thought. No wonder his action was wrong, no wonder he behaved foolishly.

The fact that you do not know about the law of gravity does not set aside the law of gravity. Whether you believe in God or not, whether you believe in the existence of heaven or hell does not affect its reality. Your conviction about God will affect you not God. So, take time to consider issues before making up your mind. The distance between where you are presently and where you wish to be is determined by the depth of your thought. Great achievers are great thinkers. Resolve in your mind to be a great thinker. Great thinkers rule the world.

Prayer: Father I receive grace today in the name of Jesus to think like you as I spend time to meditate on your word. Amen
