Faith For The Unknown

By faith Noah, when warned about things not yet seen, in holy fear built an ark to save his family. By his faith he condemned the world and became heir of the righteousness that is in keeping with faith. - Hebrews 11:7

Noah lived at a time when there was much evil in the world. As much evil as there was in the days of Noah, God had a witness in Noah. God revealed His secret to Noah because Noah was committed to God. Noah was a farmer, yet God gave him the assignment of a carpenter. And despite the fact that Noah does not have the experience of building, he obeyed God. That is faith for the unknown.

Despite the fact that the task given to Noah was massive, he still obeyed. He did not rationalize the instruction of God. God gave Noah an instruction to build an ark, yet, as at that time; there had never been rain on the earth. It was only mist that came from the ground to water the ground. (Genesis 2:52). Even though Noah had never seen rain before, he still believed God that it would rain. Noah builds his own ship on the land where there was no likelihood of anything called rain. In the course of building the ark, Noah preached to people around him to stop their evil ways, and he did that until he finished building the ark. Yet, the people did not listen to him. Despite the fact that the people despised and mocked Noah, he did not stop doing what God told him to do.

Beloved, do not stop doing what God has called you to do because of the fear of mockery of men, don’t be discouraged by what men do when you are doing God’s will.

Prayer: Thank you father because, there is no failure around my life in Jesus Name. I walk in the perfect will of God for my life in Jesus Name.
