Pleasing God With Your Faith

But without faith it is impossible to please Him, for he who comes to God must believe that He is, and that He is a rewarder of those who diligently seek Him - Hebrews 11:6

Rahab pleased God with her faith when she cooperated with the spies sent to Jericho by hiding them. Despite the good action of Rahab, the bible did not hide the truth about Rahab, that she was an harlot. Yet, when the names of heroes of faith like Abraham, Sarah, Enoch, Noah and Moses were mentioned in the book of Hebrews, the name of Rahab also appeared. What they had in common is their faith, not stories of their past.

As a believer, aren’t you glad you are serving a God in whom there is no falsehood? If you go by stories, Moses also was a murderer at a time in his life time but his faith in God made him a unique leader. In your life also, no matter how horrible or dirty your past is, your faith can distinguish you. This is why you must never ignore your faith life. It does not matter how far you think you have gone in doing evil (immorality, abortion, wickedness etc), when you become born again and start living a life of faith, it can change the story of your life. It can give you a future which is more beautiful than the ugliness of your past. Never allow the past to hold you captive; if harlot could make it, you can make it also.

Prayer: Father, I come before you in the mighty name of Jesus and I rebuke fear, doubt and unbelief. I receive grace to always please you by faith in Jesus name.
