Daily Feast – October 8

Focus on God (3)

And you will seek Me and find Me, when you search for Me with all your heart. - Jeremiah 29:13

When you put God first, you will never be last. At a time in the life of Abraham, everything seems to be working against him. Apart from the fact that he was childless, he claimed to hear a divine call to leave his kindred and country-home, leaving certainty for uncertainty. Even his cousin (Lot) he decided to help repaid him with evil, yet, God turned his situations around and God's promises were fulfilled in his life such that every believer today claim to be the seed of Abraham.

Beloved, never allow the frustration of the moment to make you lose focus of God. Never seek success at the expense of the Creator. Learn to deal with frustration; don't be frustrated by circumstances as if there is no tomorrow. Your tomorrow is in the hand of God and you shall surely be rewarded. The Lord warned the Church to hold fast their crown lest it be lost “Rev 3:11”.

If your crown cannot be taken, Jesus wouldn't have warned the Church to hold it fast. The devil does not want any believer to possess his possession; you must love God so well that God becomes your focus. I pray that you will not lose your place in God.

Can you imagine the level of sacrifice Moses made, yet could not get to the Promised Land? But with the love Moses had for God and His people, yet the Israelites frustrated Moses. Beloved, don't give anybody the liberty to frustrate the love of God in your heart. When you keep making him your sole focus, your progress becomes evident to all.

Prayer: In Jesus name, I pray today that my focus on God shall never be hindered.
