1. Unrighteousness: Living Outside God’s Nature
Unrighteousness halts flourishing because God only powers the righteous to thrive, whether through being unregenerate or a believer choosing to live in sin. The sacrifice of Jesus on Calvary paid for our sins to justify us, as Titus chapter 2 verses 11 to 12 teaches that grace empowers us to deny ungodliness and live righteously in this present world.

Flourishing is hindered when the drive for success is rooted in pride, competition, or showmanship rather than glorifying God. As James chapter 4 verse 3 warns, asking out of selfish lust yields nothing, but seeking to magnify God ensures His abundant provision.
